Joseph Lilly
With over two decades’ experience, Joseph Lilly understands the complexity of working with privately held and family owned businesses. His focus is on developing collaborative relationships with multi-generational shareholders, facilitating smooth leadership transitions, and balancing a workforce of both family and non-family members.
Joseph navigates the major points of transitions, such as business growth, succession plans, and windups. His strategy unravels difficult challenges, taking them head on with integrity, direct communication, and comprehensive planning.
Prior to founding The Joseph Lilly Company, his professional experience included positions as Chief Financial Officer of Oregon Transfer Co.; Controller and Family Office Manager at MMGL Corp., a family held holding company; and Regional Accountant at Schnitzer West, a property management and development company. He obtained his CPA license while working at Moss Adams, a regional public accounting firm, and has an MBA from Cornell University.
In his free time, Joseph enjoys travel, hiking and dabbling in geology.

Kat Orozco
Kat Orozco is an Accounting and Finance professional with over 20 years’ experience in family-owned businesses. She has comprehensive knowledge and skills in all facets of company operations and finance, making her an asset to any team.
Welcoming and warm, Kat seamlessly integrates with all levels of staff and ownership, offering support where needed. Whether providing financial information, forecasting returns, or running labor analyses, she always delivers timely, detailed, and accurate information with professional integrity.
As the controller of Oregon Transfer Co. Kat sharpened her skills in forecasting, financial analysis, financial reporting, and compliance. Other responsibilities included insurance renewals, liquor tax reporting and licensing, internal controls and procedure, fixed asset and cash management, and technical support. Her comprehensive experience lets her evaluate each unique assignment from broad and detailed viewpoints.
Kat earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Linfield College. She is technically savvy and enjoys taking on challenges. She has been a key part of several successful software implementations—integrating data and managing staff training.
In her free time, Kat enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with her daughter. She finds nothing more wonderful than the Pacific Northwest.
